Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Arca TCG (“Arca TCG,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Arca TCG mobile application. The App is provided by Alisher Akhmedzhanov (“Developer”). If you have any questions, contact us at support@arcatcg.com.

1. Who We Are

Arca TCG is a trading card game collection app that lets you scan, identify, organize, and track the value of your trading cards. The App is operated by Alisher Akhmedzhanov. For any privacy-related questions or requests, you can reach us at support@arcatcg.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user ID associated with your account. Depending on your provider settings, your email may be a private relay address.

Collection and content data. We store the content you create in the App in Google Firebase Realtime Database under your user record (users/{uid}). This includes your card collections, the cards you own, purchase prices you record, favorites, recently viewed sets, and your in-app search history.

Camera and photo library. With your permission, the App accesses your device camera and photo picker so you can take or select photos of cards to scan them. These images are used only on your device to identify the card you are scanning and are not uploaded or retained by us.

Card scanning images. When you scan a card, the image is processed on your device to identify the card. We do not upload, transmit, or store the photos or camera images you capture or select for scanning, and they are not sent to any backend server or external provider. Only the resulting card identification details (such as the card name and set) are saved to your account.

Purchase and subscription data. When you purchase a subscription, we receive your subscription status, transaction identifiers, and an Adapty profile ID. This information is processed through Adapty and the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Analytics and diagnostics. We collect limited usage and diagnostic information to operate and improve the App, such as in-app events (for example, when a paywall is shown or a set is completed), your app version, and device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain your account; store and synchronize your collection data across your devices; identify cards you scan; process and manage subscriptions; provide customer support; analyze and improve App performance and features; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third Parties and Sub-Processors

We share information with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Remote Config) — account, authentication, and collection data storage and backend services.
• Adapty — subscription management and purchase analytics.
• Cloudflare — backend infrastructure and network services.
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit / App Store) — authentication and in-app purchase processing.
• Analytics provider — usage and diagnostic analytics.
• Foreign-exchange rate API — currency conversion for price display, where applicable.

Each of these providers processes data only to provide their services to us. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored and International Transfers

Our backend services, including Firebase (us-central1), are hosted on servers located in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, including the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can erase your data in the App at any time using the “Delete my data” option, or delete your account entirely using the “Delete account” option. You may also request deletion by contacting us at support@arcatcg.com. Some information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older (16 and older in the European Economic Area). The App is not directed to children under these ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@arcatcg.com and we will take steps to delete it. We comply with applicable laws regarding children’s privacy, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to access and delete that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
